I found this on tube, I believe it is originally from John Chow dot com. Though I am convinced that this has been a popular video and most of you guys have watch it, I am still hard nosed to share it. JC talked about why you should write about topics that you passionate the most in order to make money online. Enjoy the video!
Though it’s only a 4 minutes video, JC shared some valuable information about how he made money online and some logical ways to find advertisers.

If we talk about good content, why don’t you write down what is in the video. At least the key point list. It will make your visitor stay longer (IMO).

What an interesting video. I hadn’t seen it eather but will take it in consideration when typing posts.
the problem sometimes with good content is that scrapers are stealing it from your blog so that’s why good content should be accompanied by small protection not to be propagated by scrapers. I agree that real good content, however, will really got a nice place on the net.
Norhafidz, Great post here, I’ve seen this video way back before I bought my blog. I had already been visiting the bloggers and doing the whole rounds, and had come across John Chow from the first time I had checked out about blogging. I did think the video was informative for someone who hadn’t even had a blog yet but knew I was going in that direction. But when I go back as I just did tonight and revisited the video that you had on here, when John says he never did it for the money now that doesn’t really ring true to me anymore. It’s a nice statement to say on the morning news but really now, of course it’s the money! I’m not saying that it’s wrong hell we’re all in it for the $$ and I will agree with him that you “DO” have to have the passion or your own niche to succeed!! great post and thanks for the memories.

The funny thing is that, now you will longer see some good content on JC’s blog today. Most the time, it is just about the places he went to and some foods he eat. I think it is not just about what is your passion. You should also be passionate about your readers. Hmm, it is not just about money huh. I read some article of of Gary Conn that discusses what JC did sometime. And you will see the money thing. Just google it, forgot the url.

Right, good content generates good traffic. The question is where to get good content.
